Meet Dr. Haley Poisson

Dr. Haley Poisson is a Florida Native and grew up in Melbourne, Florida. She attended the University of Florida and graduated with a Bachelor of Science in food science and human nutrition and Bachelor of Music in clarinet performance in 2016. During her undergraduate years, Dr. Poisson was involved in various extracurricular activities including participating in the University of Florida Marching Band for 3 years and participating with the Alpha Eta Chapter of Kappa Kappa Psi, a co-educational music fraternity.

After completing her undergraduate education, Dr. Poisson attended Boston University School of Dental Medicine where she obtained her degree as a Doctor of Dental Medicine in May of 2020. She attended an oral surgery internship at University of Rochester for the 2020-2021 academic year but ultimately decided she is most passionate about general dentistry. She practiced in Morehead City, NC for almost 5 years before moving to Washington state. Her clinical interests include restorative dentistry, particularly crown and bridge work, oral surgery and dental implants. Her gentle approach and focus on communication help patients feel comfortable, informed and confident about their oral health. Dr. Poisson is passionate about building meaningful, lasting relationships with her patients and team based on trust, communication and the shared goal of creating and maintaining healthy, beautiful smiles.

Dr. Poisson currently lives in Woodland, WA with her husband, Jonathan, their three pugs, Piper, Poutine, and Charlie, and their chickens. When Dr. Poisson is not in the dental office, she enjoys spending time with her husband and pugs, cheering on her Florida Gators, or trying new restaurants. Her other passions include cooking, baking, reading, and spending time with friends and family.

Dr. Poisson is thrilled to be a part of the Salmon Creek Dental Center Team and looks forward to caring for patients and becoming part of the PNW community.
